Our clinic nurse provides childhood immunizations as per the Australian Immunisation schedule and can provide catch up immunizations for adolescents who may have missed their scheduled vaccinations. Our GPs also provide up-to-date travel information and education, as well as required travel vaccinations. There are a select number of vaccines that are subsidized by the Australian Government for certain populations.

Are childhood vaccinations mandatory in Australia?
While not legally mandatory, childhood vaccinations are strongly recommended and are linked to school enrolment and certain government benefits under the “No Jab, No Pay/Play” policies.
What should I bring to my vaccination appointment?
Please bring your Medicare card, previous immunisation records (if available), and a completed consent form if required.
Do travel vaccines need to be taken weeks before travelling?
Yes. Many travel vaccines need to be administered 4–6 weeks before departure to provide full protection. It is best to book early.
Are vaccines safe for children and adults?
Yes. All vaccines used in Australia undergo rigorous safety, quality, and effectiveness testing and are continuously monitored.
How do I know if I’m eligible for government-funded vaccines?
Eligibility depends on age, medical conditions, pregnancy, and other risk factors. Our nurses and GPs will assess your situation and inform you of any subsidised vaccines available to you.
